Now in this post, we have a writer who brings up the point I have yet to touch on, the dedication and discipline it takes to be successful in life and in the gym. I hope you like this amazing read as much as I do. (Guest post by Simone)

Are you disorganized and unfocused, and not sure how to get yourself on track? Fitness may be your solution. Staying fit and following a regimen adds discipline to your life. I am not saying this will all happen immediately, but when following a solid workout routine, I almost want to guarantee that everything else in life will follow and fall in place.

Fitness heavily relies on two main elements: Diet and Exercise. These are two things that for the most part a person has complete control over, unlike other parts of our life that can get messy and confusing.

Your body heavily relies on the energy you feed it, and the cleaner and healthier you eat, the better overall you will feel. What you eat DOES MATTER. Make sure you’re eating the correct number of calories, getting the proper serving of veggies and protein, and overall, just find a balance in diet that works for you.

The fitness aspect comes down to making a DAILY choice. Every time you work out, you have deliberately made the choice to get up and do so. You are deliberately choosing to improve yourself and your health.

Although there is no direct causation, there is definitely a strong correlation between staying fit and other aspects of your life. If you can build the discipline to stay consistent in the gym, you will most likely start applying this to most other areas in your life. Staying physically fit can help you mentally, and indirectly keep you organized and motivated for other areas of your life!
